Irma Heredia, 42, of Porterville, California did stop her 2000 Ford Escort at the stop sign but then pulled out in the path of an oncoming car. The police said the oncoming driver of a 2002 Isuzu Trooper was going about 60 miles per hour and couldn’t stop in time to avoid the auto crash.
